Aldro’s monthly bookkeeping service helps small-business owners keep transactions organized and understand the numbers behind their business. Your bookkeeper categorizes transactions, reconciles accounts and prepares an income statement and balance sheet. You do not need to buy a separate accounting software subscription.

Questions about monthly bookkeeping
What does the monthly service include?
The published service includes transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliation, a monthly income statement and balance sheet, and a tax-ready year-end financial package. Discuss your particular accounts and reporting needs before work starts.
Do I need QuickBooks or Xero?
No separate QuickBooks, Xero or other accounting software subscription is required for Aldro’s bookkeeping service. If you already use software, tell us during the introductory call so we can discuss the handover.
Are tax filing and missed months included?
Tax filing is billed separately at $399. Bookkeeping for missed periods is quoted separately as catch-up work. Monthly bookkeeping is for keeping the agreed ongoing periods current.
Can I use bookkeeping without tax filing?
Yes. You can use monthly bookkeeping on its own and give the year-end financial package to your tax preparer. You can also ask Aldro to prepare and file the business return.
